Embarrassed to talk to the DR….

The millions of people in this world and one of the people I struggle talking with is the Dr. I go in with my list in my head or sometimes even written down and I can never get it out. I am on the way to the Dr. today and I have my list and somehow I have to get it out. I need this help and I need to be a better wife and mom to my littles. My depression has been at the top of its game lately. I have struggled in the intimate wife department. I have had awful periods since I had my tubes removed. I know all of these things and today I have to take control of them and get help. I have asked a previous Dr. before about some of these things and just been blown off but I need help. Mental Illness isn’t okay and I deserve better. My husband deserves better and my kids do as well. Soooooooo…. Heres to today! Here is to Help!

Why Endless Possibilities….

As a child, we always get asked what we want to be when we get older. We can tell people a doctor, teacher, or something out of this world crazy. At this time our mind is truly full of endless possibilities, this is how our life still is to this day just a little more chaotic. Each day we wake up not knowing what we are going to face. Mental Illness only makes this 100 % more unpredictable. I wake up knowing that today could be as calm as the sea before a storm, or it could be the eye of a tornado tearing through a town. We honestly never know, this is how I feel waking up each day not knowing what I am going to get and at what moment in time my day can be changed like the flip of a light switch. Most people who know me see me as someone with things put together and with a smile on my face. Honestly, most days on the inside I am screaming and struggling. My anxiety and depression cripple me for some days. I would love to stay in bed but as a fire-wife, mom of 3, stepmom to 1 and a full time parapro it isn’t an option. I would love to have a day off of my duties but again it isn’t an option. To all the women and moms who keep pushing on, I am proud of each of you! My endless possibilities sometimes look the same day in and day out because I am afraid of change and afraid that change might set off my husband who struggles with mental illness as well. This blog is a way for me to voice my struggles and remind myself that my possibilities are still and always will be endless and I have the power to change them.

This is me……….

This is me… I have yet to decide if I will or will not tell you who I am. What I can tell you is that I am a Fire-Wife, Mom, Stepmom and a Special Ed Parapro. One of the major things I can also tell you is that I struggle with depression and anxiety. The struggle daily is real, but if you know me you know that I normally always have a smile on my face and making things look easy. Since my twenties, I have always struggled with my weight and thyroid issues. These two things weigh on me a lot but yet I can’t find the energy to change it. I know that some will say this is just an excuse but THYROID tired and Depression tired are a real thing. My blog will always be open and honest and sometimes too honest with you all. That is why I have yet to decide if I will let you know who I am. I want to use this as an outlet for my struggles but also encouragement for those dealing with some of the same things. I hope that this blog grows with me and my family and the adventures we are wanting to have.
